Kanban

This highly practical course centres around a ‘hands-on’ factory simulation model which recognises that manufacturing costs will only be optimised when more effective controls are exercised over work-in-progress & stock levels. It highlights that problems inherent within manufacturing operations are easily covered up by stock holding levels & actions of improvement can be subsequently mis-directed. It also addresses the business needs necessary to effect the ‘Just-in-Time’ philosophy of manufacturing to its full potential.
